A DPA under Art. 28 GDPR
The data processing agreement is part of the terms and applies to every plan, with nothing to sign or request. We report breaches to you without undue delay, so you can meet the 72 hours.
Files in Switzerland, app in the EU
Files are stored encrypted with Exoscale in Zurich, covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision. The app, its database and the accounts run on Laravel Cloud in Frankfurt.
No tracking on download and upload pages
No analytics tools, no advertising cookies, no cookie banner. If you pick a Google Font for your branding, we serve it from our servers, not from Google.
Fixed retention periods
You pick 1 to 30 days per transfer; then we delete its files and previews within an hour. Files never sent go after 7 days, requested ones 90 days after the request ends.

- US providers in the chain
- Laravel Cloud and AWS are US companies, even though the app runs in Frankfurt, and emails go through Twilio SendGrid in the USA. This is covered by the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
- A typeface from Adobe Fonts
- Without a typeface of your own, download and upload pages load Helvetica Neue from Adobe Fonts, which sees the visitor’s IP address. Pick a text typeface in your branding and that goes away.
- No end-to-end encryption
- Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end to end. That’s what lets your clients view them in the browser.
